1,500+ Enrolments and a 9x ROAS for Pro-Age Aesthetics Academy, a Global Beauty Education Brand, with Meta Ads and Full-Funnel Marketing
Pro-Age Aesthetics Academy is a global beauty education brand selling online and in-person certification programmes to beauty professionals. Since April 2022, MedSpa Marketing has run its Meta ads, funnels and email marketing, with the strategy led by Ambreen Hasan. Starting from zero, our work has delivered 1,500+ programme enrolments at a 9x return on ad spend, sustained over three years, with in-person programmes sold in five countries.
Client Overview
Pro-Age Aesthetics Academy sells professional certification programmes in facial aesthetics to beauty therapists worldwide, as self-study courses, live online cohorts and in-person masterclasses.
The academy came to us in April 2022 with one online programme and no audience, email list or advertising history. We were hired to build its entire sales engine, and four and a half years later we still run it.
Objective
Our Approach
Launching the Online Programme From Zero
We launched a full-funnel Meta ads account in April 2022: awareness campaigns to introduce the academy to beauty professionals, and retargeting campaigns to convert the most engaged into online enrolments. The first sales came in month one, and revenue grew 288% in the first year.
Building a Warm Audience That Sells Every Launch
Ambreen Hasan shifted the strategy from asking cold audiences to buy to inviting them to try first. We built a free lesson funnel backed by email nurture and retargeting, and it became the engine of the account. The database grew by more than 2,000%, and those leads kept converting for years into every new programme we launched.
Scaling Into In-Person Programmes Worldwide
With a warm audience in place, we expanded the academy from online courses into live cohorts and in-person masterclasses, and took them international. We ran each city as its own launch, with dedicated campaigns, landing pages and email sequences. In-person programmes are now sold in five countries, and the account has held a 9x return on ad spend throughout.
The Results
Inside the Campaigns

“This is how I want to wake up every single day. Seeing sales”

Scaling Further Together
Our work with Pro-Age continues. We are now building the sales systems for the academy’s next stage: advanced Level 2 certification for its graduates, new formats including international retreats, and ad-level tracking that ties every in-person enrolment back to the campaign that drove it. Behind the campaigns sits the website and funnel rebuild we delivered, which turns cold traffic into leads and sales.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you sell online courses with Meta ads?
Run a full funnel, not direct-to-sale ads: awareness campaigns to reach the right audience, a free lead magnet to capture leads, then email and retargeting to convert them. This is the strategy we built for Pro-Age Aesthetics Academy, and it delivered 1,500+ enrolments at a 9x ROAS. A course is a considered purchase, so the funnel after the click does most of the selling.
What ROAS can you get selling online courses with Facebook ads?
A proven course with a strong marketing strategy and a full-funnel build can hold well above 5x. Our strategy for Pro-Age sustained 9x over three years, and in its best month total sales reached 19.94x Meta spend. The highest returns come from building a ladder of programmes, so each buyer goes on to enrol again.
How do you market in-person training workshops and masterclasses?
Run every city as its own launch, with dedicated campaigns, landing pages and email sequences starting months before the class. Using this approach we have sold Pro-Age’s in-person programmes in five countries. The fastest seats always come from warm audiences, so past students and leads should hear about a class before cold audiences do.
Do lead magnet funnels work for selling high-ticket courses?
Yes, and the value compounds for years. The free lesson funnel we built for Pro-Age grew its database by more than 2,000%, and at least 30% of 372 in-person programme buyers first came in through it. Letting buyers try before they pay removes the biggest objection to a high-ticket enrolment.
