High-Ticket Sales at an AED 1,265 Average Order and Peak Monthly Sales Up 156% for Luxmetallic, a Dubai Luxury E-commerce Brand, with Meta Ads
Luxmetallic is a Dubai luxury e-commerce brand selling custom metal and 24K gold cards online. Gateway Marketing Digital ran its Meta ads across two programmes, in 2023 to 2024 and again in 2025, with the strategy led by Ambreen Hasan. Our luxury e-commerce Meta ads delivered high-ticket sales at an average order of AED 1,265, a 3.4x return on ad spend in the launch month, and peak monthly sales up 156% on the launch-period average.
Client Overview
Luxmetallic turns customers’ existing bank cards into premium metal or 24K gold cards, sold online from Dubai.
The brand hired us in November 2023 to launch its Meta ads and turn a new, unfamiliar luxury product into steady high-ticket online sales. It brought us back in April 2025 for a second programme.
Objective
Our Approach
Status-Led Creative and Launch
Ahead of launch, we directed a branded video shoot with the card as the hero of every frame, shown as the finished object a buyer would be proud to hand over. Ambreen Hasan built the creative around two angles: status, because the card says something about the person holding it, and the mechanism, because "your own card, in metal or gold" answers the first question every buyer asks.
The launch campaign delivered a 3.4x return on ad spend in its first month, with buyers ordering several cards at once.
A Full-Funnel Structure That Teaches, Then Closes
A product people need to understand first does not sell on one impression. We rebuilt the account into two jobs: prospecting campaigns that introduced the idea to new audiences, and retargeting campaigns that turned the warm audiences they built into orders.
The new structure lifted average monthly sales 56% above the launch period over its first three months, and the peak month reached 156% above the launch-period average.
Conversion Optimisation and Compliant Messaging
We tightened purchase tracking so every sale was attributed from the ad through to checkout. In the second programme, we studied how visitors moved through the site and gave the brand a conversion-focused user experience plan to remove hesitation before checkout, with clearer product guidance, stronger trust signals and instant support for buyers with questions.
We also reframed the ad copy from "credit card" to "bank card" and "metal card". It described the product more accurately and kept the campaigns clear of financial-product restrictions. The average order rose to AED 1,297 in the second programme.
The Results
“working with Ambreen was a game changer”
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you sell high-ticket products online with Facebook ads?
Show the product as a status object, answer the question that stops people buying, and split prospecting from retargeting so one teaches and the other closes. This is the strategy we ran for Luxmetallic, and our Meta ads sold luxury cards at an average order of AED 1,265. A high-ticket buyer rarely buys on the first impression, so the structure has to carry them to the sale.
How do you market a luxury brand on Instagram and Facebook?
Lead with premium creative where the product is the hero, then speak to the identity of the buyer rather than the features. Our status-led creative for Luxmetallic delivered a 3.4x return on ad spend in its launch month. Luxury buyers are buying how the product makes them look, so the creative has to sell that feeling first.
Can you advertise card and finance-related products on Meta in the UAE?
Yes, but wording matters. Terms like "credit card" can trigger extra ad review, so we reframed Luxmetallic’s copy around "bank card" and "metal card", which described the product more accurately and kept the ads running smoothly. In the programme where we made that change, the average order rose to AED 1,297.
Is average order value more important than cost per sale for luxury brands?
They have to be read together. Our campaigns for Luxmetallic held an average order of AED 1,265, rising to AED 1,297 in the second programme, so a single sale can carry an acquisition cost that would sink a low-ticket store. Multi-item orders, where one buyer orders several products, are where a premium brand’s margin sits.
